In this book, Pastor (Ambassador) Lawrence Olufemi Obisakin presents the Christian Church’s quest for technology as faith—an active love of and obedience to God—seeking the proper use of knowledge. The application of modern, up-to-date technology by any church, he argues, is not antithetical to God, but it is an exercise in appropriating the mystery, deeper knowledge, and infinite wisdom of God for the expansion of God’s kingdom and human flourishing. Obisakin’s voice rings through in this book as a prophetic voice in the wilderness calling African Pentecostal churches to work wisely at the dynamic and challenging intersections of faith and reason, which are all gifts from the all-knowing God.
